About The Position

SymphonyAI Retail is a leading provider of advanced AI-driven solutions and services specifically designed for the retail industry. We empower retailers and consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies with innovative technology to enhance their operations, optimize decision-making, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. We are now hiring a Functional Consultant in our Professional Services Organization, where you will play a key role in delivering ERP and supply chain projects. You will work directly with clients to understand their business requirements, configure and implement solutions, and ensure successful project outcomes. This role requires advanced expertise in both functional and technical aspects of ERP and supply chain systems. In particular, hands-on technical proficiency with Java and related technologies is required. Experience or knowledge of the SymphonyAI G.O.L.D. solution is a strong advantage

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 2+ years’ experience with ERP and/or supply chain solutions (implementation, migration, support, or development), with direct involvement in Java-based technical configurations and customizations.
  • Proven ability to work in a consulting or client-facing capacity, including requirements analysis, solution design, and hands-on configuration/troubleshooting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to identify root causes of complex issues and rapidly deliver solutions.
  • Technical knowledge in Java (required), Angular, .net, experience with PL/SQL, Oracle, UNIX/Linux, middleware (e.g., WebLogic, Glassfish), and web technologies (J2EE, JSP).
  • Knowledge in Python, Kubernetes, Data Lake, REST API, Snowflake, Kafka required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluency in others languages (such as English, Mandarin, French, Spanish) is a plus.
  • Experience in multicultural or global project environments highly valued.
  • Ability to coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams across locations and cultures.
  • Willingness to travel as required for client engagements.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience deploying or supporting retail application like Blue Yonder (JDA), Relex, Oracle Retail is a plus.
  • Familiarity with retail, wholesale, or consumer goods environments and hands-on experience with retail solution like Blue Yonder (JDA), Relex, Oracle Retail or NCR will be considered a significant asset.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and contribute to Assortment & Spaces (Apps) and/or supply chain implementation (ERP) projects for retail and consumer goods clients.
  • Collaborate with customers to analyze business needs, document as-is and to-be processes, configure and support deployment and adoption of the solution platforms.
  • Participate in all aspects of project delivery including requirements gathering, technical configuration (e.g., using Java), testing, training, and post-implementation support.
  • Develop and troubleshoot custom integrations and configurations, leveraging your knowledge of Java, Oracle, PL/SQL, and related database or middleware technologies.
  • Coordinate project activities with internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
  • Support quality assurance processes including test planning, execution, scripting, and troubleshooting, with a focus on solutions and use cases.
  • Provide functional expertise throughout the project lifecycle, including multi-country and multi-language deployments.
  • Facilitate user training and documentation to ensure effective system usage, with expertise in multicultural project environments.
