We are seeking a Payment Consultant to support a strategic Treasury Management engagement with a leading U.S. bank. This is a high-impact, client-facing role for a seasoned payments professional with deep expertise across the end-to-end treasury payments lifecycle. You will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) across payment operations and modernization initiatives—advising on strategy, designing solutions, and partnering across business and technology teams to deliver scalable, future-ready payment capabilities. This role blends consulting, solution design, and domain leadership, with direct exposure to senior stakeholders and enterprise-scale transformation programs.

Requirements

Prior experience working in Treasury Services / Treasury Management within a top-tier U.S. bank
Deep, hands-on expertise across the full payment lifecycle, including: Payment initiation (APIs, ERP, online banking, file-based) Message formats (ISO 20022, NACHA, SWIFT, EDI) Clearing & settlement (ACH, Fedwire, CHIPS, SWIFT, RTP®, FedNow®) Reconciliation, exceptions, and investigations Fraud controls, sanctions screening, and regulatory compliance
10–15+ years of experience in Treasury Management, Payments, or Cash Management
Experience working for a consulting services company is required.
Prior payments consulting, solution architecture, or pre-sales experience within banking, fintech, or financial services.
Strong understanding of treasury management products including liquidity management, Controlled disbursement, lockbox, integrated receivables, Positive Pay, and fraud mitigation tools.
Proven client-facing consultative skills with ability to translate complex payment technology into business-relevant recommendations and treasury executives.
