About The Position

Kforce has a client in Houston, TX that is seeking a detail-oriented and highly communicative Functional Business Analyst to support system user groups through precise documentation, process refinement, and hands-on testing. This role is critical in ensuring business rules and system changes are clearly communicated, accurately documented, and thoroughly validated.

Requirements

Proven experience writing communications for large system user groups, especially call center environments
Hands-on experience conducting UAT and validating production environments
Strong editing and documentation skills for operational processes and agent workflows
Excellent written communication and organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to write detailed business requirements and user stories
Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and business teams
Experience using Salesforce

Responsibilities

Draft concise, high-quality announcements and training updates for large user groups
Communicate new business rules, manual procedures, and system actions in clear, actionable language
Edit and create step-by-step action documents that guide agents through manual, verbal, and system-based procedures
Ensure documentation reflects both current and future-state processes post-implementation Business
Collaborate with Project Managers, Scrum Masters, and other stakeholders to capture and write detailed business requirements and user stories
Translate business needs into clear, structured documentation for system enhancements-without leading requirement-gathering sessions
Independently execute UAT, validate test cases, and determine pass/fail outcomes
Confirm production readiness and ensure system functionality aligns with business expectations at launch
