About The Position

Ashley Global Retail, LLC has multiple openings for Functional Architect in Mesquite, TX. This role involves leveraging practical and applied abilities in D365 to analyze the company’s functionalities, identify applications and their positioning, and diagnose the alignment of applications and functionalities through data flow studies. The Functional Architect will be responsible for writing and maintaining the functional target (the urban plan), disseminating information system mapping to users, and promoting it to business divisions and general management. Key responsibilities also include designing and developing new software applications, modifying standard Microsoft Dynamics applications, creating design specifications including gap/fit analysis documentation, and developing interfaces to integrate with Dynamics applications. The position requires designing, developing, and executing data migration processes and integrations to legacy systems, and designing and developing SSRS web-based reports. The architect will collaborate with project team members to test customizations, provide end-user support, and support sales and consulting teams by presenting technical concepts and assisting with solution design. Additionally, the role involves creating estimates for development tasks and supporting team members on practice development strategies and team initiatives.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or its foreign equivalency
8 years of relevant experience
At least 2 of the 6 applicable functional architect certifications offered from Microsoft in D365: MB6-897 Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Retail, MB6-896 Distribution and Trade in Microsoft, Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, MB6-701 Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 Retail, MB-700 Microsoft Dynamic
Work experience in D365 F&O and Retail
Work experience in D365 configurations for the following modules: Account Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management, Avalara Plugin/Connector, Cash and Bank Management, Cost Accounting, Credit and Collections, General Ledger, Inventory Management, Landed Cost, Retail and Commerce, Sales and Marketing, System Admin, and Warehouse Management
Work experience in Warehousing, distribution, manufacturing, ATP/C, EDI, Capacity, and Fulfillment integrations
Work experience in Third party financing outside of bank cards, cash, and checks including e-wallets
Work experience in Conducting gap analysis for the following lines of businesses: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management, Avalara Plugin/Connector, Cash and Bank Management, Cost Accounting, Credit and Collections, General Ledger, Inventory Management, Landed Cost, Retail and Commerce, Sales and Marketing, System Admin, and Warehouse Management

Responsibilities

Use practical and applied abilities in D365 to analyze the company’s functionalities
Identify the company’s applications and their positioning with respect to functionalities
Carry out a diagnosis of the alignment of applications and functionalities (studies of data flows, etc.)
Write the functional target (the urban plan)
Maintain and regularly update the urban plan
Disseminate mapping of information system to users and promote it to the business divisions and general management
Design and develop new software applications
