The Opportunity Within Aeroflow, the Innovation Engineering (Special Projects) team is comprised of a highly skilled group of forward-thinking builders focused on solving the business's most unique and impactful challenges. This team sits inside our broader 80+ engineer organization that includes internal/SQL, middleware, product, and platform teams. The Innovation Engineering team focuses on: Designing and delivering cutting-edge applications using Next.js, React, Node.js, TypeScript, AWS Lambda, and infrastructure-as-code (sst.dev, Pulumi/Terraform). Rapid experimentation, AI-driven solutions (LLMs, prompting, RAG/vector storage, model training), and mission-critical engineering accelerators. Supporting internal engineering teams with scalable frameworks, modern architecture, and hands-on DevOps and CI/CD enablement. We support internal product teams, business stakeholders, and engineering leadership , helping unlock automation, improve patient experiences, and increase operational efficiency across Aeroflow.
