About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One to three months of teller experience and/or training or one year handling and balancing cash drawer or one year as a customer service representative.
• Pass background check.
• Proficient in using a computer for processing customer transactions.
• Ability to use 10-key by touch.
• Ability to interact with others.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality, efficient, friendly service promptly.
• Accurately process routine transactions including cashing checks, depositing money, and collecting loan payments.
• Accept checks, cash, and other forms of payment from customers.
• Record all transactions electronically.
• Count cash in drawer at the end of the business day and ensure amounts balance.
• Safely and accurately handle money processed.
• Verify customer's identity and ensure sufficient funds for transactions.
• Scan and file documents.
• Promote the bank's products and services and answer customer questions.
• Direct customers to appropriate departments for specialized services.
• Follow established policies and procedures and operate within compliance with federal regulations.
