About The Position

Loving and thoughtful first time parents are seeking a full-time nanny/housekeeper. This can be a live-in or out role and the schedule will be Monday through Friday 8am-8pm. The position leans more toward a nanny role with light housekeeping as the parents have a housekeeper come in to do a deep clean a couple of times each week. The nanny side of the position will typically be sole charge with both parents working either from home or in the office, but the candidate should be open for the parents to dip in and out during the day. The couple believe in professionalism, kindness, laughter and crystal clear communication — and deeply value caregivers who bring expertise, calm, and empathy to their child. They are both typically busy professionals & their home is organized, supportive, and welcoming — they have a great support network with big families that are around often. They will treat their team as trusted partners and aim to create a positive, well-structured experience for everyone involved.

Requirements

Be friendly, flexible, with a positive demeanor and a good sense of humor
Be proactive, logical, with good intuition
Have strong references
Must have at least 5 years' verifiable experience working with children of this age group
The couple would like for the candidate to travel with them
Travel ready passport
Fluent English speaking
To want longevity in a role
Must be energetic as the family have a four-storey home
Have high empathy, be a self starter, and proactive

Responsibilities

Prioritizing the safety and well-being of the baby at all times
Offer advice and guidance to the parents when needed
Help clean and sterilize bottles when used
Maintain a clean and tidy nursery
Guide the parents when weaning and prepare healthy nutritious meals
Maintaining and adjusting sleep and feeding routines/schedules as the baby grows
Travel with the family, when required
Organize playdates, and activities when appropriate
Encourage the baby to reach his developmental milestones
Schedule age appropriate activities/classes
Light housekeeping
All laundry
Cooking for the family
Empty and load the dishwasher
Take in any deliveries
