ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Adhere to policies related to boundaries with youth Complete required abuse risk management training Adhere to procedures related to managing high-risk activities & supervising youth Report suspicious or inappropriate behaviors and policy violations Follow mandated abuse reporting requirements All duties of Lifeguard and Instructor Train and mentor Lifeguards and Instructors Work under direction of the Coordinator of Lifeguard and Certifications to assist with the monthly in-services on a rotating schedule Run Red Ball/Zone/Pool Counts evaluation drills Perform other duties as assigned A 40-hour work week is the expectation While lifeguarding will be the primary function of this position, there will be an opportunity to teach swim lessons, private lessons, and water fitness classes based on the candidate's qualifications.
