About The Position

The position involves providing quality customer service and working towards the generation, promotion, and maintenance of a quality work environment for the staff of Amarillo National Bank. The role includes acting as a paying and receiving teller, processing commercial customer deposits, selling and redeeming U.S. Savings Bonds (Main Bank Only), handling exchange, change orders, loan payments, and more. The employee will work closely with the supervisor and customers when questions or problems arise, verify, straighten, and bundle money sold to the vault, and provide friendly, fast, and efficient customer service. Additionally, there may be travel to branch locations upon the Operations Manager's request.

Requirements

• A high school education is required.
• Some previous work experience is preferred.
• Ability to work with large amounts of money.
• Ability to run a ten-key calculator by touch.
• Must be able to work lobby and drive-ups and move from one to the other with ease.
• Must be able to work with and communicate well with customers and employees.
• Part-time employees must be able to work an extremely flexible schedule.
• Must have neat appearance.
