About The Position

A private household in Brooklyn is seeking an exceptional full-time chef starting in January 2026. The candidate will be responsible for preparing breakfast snacks (to be set aside/ refrigerated the night before), lunch from 12 noon (plated and set aside), and dinner between 5 pm and 6:30 pm (served). The schedule will be Monday through Friday, and candidates will cater to 2 adults daily.

Requirements

• US passport, Green Card, or EAC
• Available to start in early January 2026
• A minimum of eight (8) years of verifiable experience within a private household setting
• Strong commitment to utilizing healthy, fresh, organic, and seasonal ingredients

Nice To Haves

• Background in wellness and clean eating is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Demonstrated focus on health-conscious, refined, and creative cuisine, with extensive experience sourcing premium organic ingredients
• Responsible for maintaining an orderly and well-organized refrigerator, freezer, and pantry area; monitoring inventory; and conducting strategic grocery shopping to ensure efficiency and minimize waste
• Ensuring the kitchen is thoroughly cleaned and reset at the conclusion of each workday
• Ability to perform duties with composure, professionalism, and a high level of organizational skill

Benefits

• Annual compensation of ~$150,000
