An amazing Brooklyn Heights Family of four is in search of a warm, fun chef to join their household. The role is Monday through Friday from 12 to 8pm. The family has a home in the Bahamas, and you will be asked to travel a few times per year. They may also ask for a few Saturday nights per year, so sporadic weekend availability would be excellent. The candidate will be responsible for preparing very easy breakfast snacks (to be set aside/refrigerated the night before), Lunch (prepared and stored), occasional plate lunches, and dinner at 7pm (served). Demonstrated focus on health-conscious, refined, and creative cuisine, with extensive experience sourcing premium organic ingredients Responsible for maintaining an orderly and well-organized refrigerator, freezer, and pantry area; monitoring inventory; and conducting strategic grocery shopping to ensure efficiency and minimize waste Ensuring the kitchen is thoroughly cleaned and reset at the conclusion of each workday Finding new and tasty gluten-free options Traveling with the family from time to time Ability to perform duties with composure, professionalism, and a high level of organizational skill
