Responsibilities

• Greet all customers when entering and exiting the store
• Promote the Scheels Visa Rewards card and explain its benefits
• Accurately balance cash drawer at the end of the day
• Maintain a clean working environment and personal workspace
• Engage in conversation with customers to personalize transactions
• End each transaction by thanking every customer
• Maintain a professional appearance on the sales floor
• Contribute to a positive team environment that fosters personal growth
• Perform basic math calculations and interpret data
• Read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
• Write simple correspondence as needed
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
• Demonstrate strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
• Exercise judgment and tact while interacting with customers and co-workers
• Work assigned schedules, including varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Assist in all other duties as assigned
