About The Position

Aha Media Group, a healthcare marketing agency, is seeking an Account Manager to join our dynamic team of high-achievers. This is a full-time, 100% remote position. Applicants must have a U.S. Social Security or tax ID number and be available during standard EST business hours.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of account or project management experience in a digital marketing or editorial environment
  • Experienced working with B2B and B2C healthcare clients, with a strong emphasis on client consulting and strategic collaboration
  • A dynamic, positive, can-do personality who works well with everyone from executives to contractors
  • A natural relationship-builder—people trust you and enjoy working with you
  • A confident and persuasive presenter
  • Able to lead and motivate a team
  • Business-savvy and comfortable with numbers and understanding the story they tell

Responsibilities

  • Manage clients and projects
  • Take a consultative approach to helping clients succeed
  • Oversee projects and manage escalations, with support from the Chief Operating Officer
  • Lead client onboarding and manage relationships with key strategic contacts
  • Collect critical editorial information from clients and clearly communicate strategy and goals to internal teams
  • Mentor and manage project team members, including project coordinators, content strategists, writers, and editors
  • Oversee daily project operations, including scope and deliverables
  • Use digital tools like Harvest, Basecamp, Salesforce, and Airtable to track activities and communication
  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for day-to-day activities across assigned client accounts, with responsibility for retention and growth
  • Understand and evaluate both prospect and client needs, and proactively offer strategic solutions
  • Identify and pitch new opportunities to existing accounts, including new contacts and services to drive revenue
  • Stay informed on clients' organizational structure and ongoing content marketing projects
  • Stay current on content strategy, marketing, and copywriting best practices, and share insights with both clients and colleagues
  • Attend 2-4 networking events per year and actively pursue additional revenue-generating opportunities
