State Farm is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with advanced Object-Oriented programming and cloud experience to join the P&C Auto/Fire (PCAF) Cloud Enablement (CE) team. CE plays a critical role in accelerating and simplifying cloud adoption for PCAF teams by providing horizontal technical support and delivering innovative, reusable engineering solutions.

Requirements

  • Advanced expertise in Object-Oriented Programming, with strong experience in languages such as Java or Python.
  • Proven experience in Cloud Enablement, providing horizontal technical support and solutions to accelerate cloud adoption across multiple teams, with extensive hands-on expertise in advanced cloud architecture, deployment, and management on AWS.
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and methodologies (Terraform)
  • Experience with CI/CD and Containerization technology.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS (ROSA)
  • Familiarity with agentic AI technologies and their application in automating workflows and enhancing self-service capabilities
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to provide scalable, maintainable engineering solutions

  • Potential starting salary range: $85,000-$142,000 annually
  • Starting salary will be based on skills, background, and experience
