Full Stack Developer Senior - Web Application Development
About The Position
DSS, Inc. is a leading health information software development and systems integration company, offering services and solutions utilized daily by thousands of clinicians and administrative staff across both public and private sectors nationwide. As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will design and develop high-quality web applications, enhance enterprise product features, and contribute across the full SDLC. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, mentor junior developers, and serve as a technical leader on key projects. The Senior Full Stack Developer will: Design, develop, debug, and test web-enabled interfaces for DSS products. Enhance existing product features, build new modules, and contribute to new product development. Participate in project planning, product maintenance, system enhancements, and rapid issue resolution. Mentor junior developers by sharing technical expertise and best practices. Serve as the primary development point of contact for one or more projects. Additional Responsibilities: Adhere to established development and documentation standards. Provide timely technical guidance and support to cross-functional teams. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, version notes, and user guides. Communicate effectively across engineering, QA, DevOps, and product teams. Travel occasionally (up to 25%) based on business and client needs. Conditions of Employment: Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident. Security and Privacy Responsibilities: Individuals working for DSS or any Subsidiary will be subject to security and privacy requirements as explained in HIPAA, FedRAMP, and NIST 800-53. Additionally, they are required to undergo specific FedRAMP training to ensure compliance with all associated controls and responsibilities in the day-to-day performance of their duties. Individuals working in departments that are considered to be in the high-risk category will be required to undergo advanced training based on their role and level of access. Individuals with access to modify data and the configuration baseline will require further training. Requirements
- Must have proficient experience in professional software development
- Hands-on experience developing web applications
- Strong proficiency with: HTML5 JavaScript CSS C# .NET Delphi SQL Server
- Ability to work independently and mentor junior team members
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident. (Authorized to work in the US without current or future visa sponsorship.)
- Must be able to pass a Federal background check
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
