About The Position

We are seeking a hands‑on Full‑Stack Web Developer to join our Marketing team as the primary technical owner of our web ecosystem. You will own the development and ongoing optimization of our WordPress and Adobe Commerce platforms, building high‑performing web experiences and ensuring clean, reliable integration with our enterprise stack, including Marketo, Boomi, Salesforce, and NetSuite. This role focuses on delivering fast, scalable, and reliable web experiences that support customer discovery, conversion, engagement, and purchase, while partnering closely with internal teams and external service providers to ship features, site enhancements, and releases. The ideal candidate is a performance‑driven developer who values clean code, mobile‑first execution, accessibility, and technical SEO as foundational to business outcomes.

Requirements

  • 5 or more years of hands‑on experience in web development, including strong proficiency in PHP‑based environments.
  • Advanced experience with WordPress, including custom theme and plugin development, hooks and filters, and complex plugin ecosystems.
  • Experience working with Adobe Commerce (Magento) storefronts, including front‑end customization, theming, and performance optimization.
  • Strong front‑end skills using HTML5, CSS3 (SASS), and modern JavaScript (ES6 and above).
  • Practical experience with WP Engine and Cloudflare, including caching strategies, environment management, CDN configuration, and security controls.
  • Experience implementing and supporting marketing and analytics technologies such as Marketo, 6sense, and Qualified.
  • Solid understanding of MySQL, API integration patterns, and secure handling of web form and lead data.
  • Experience working within structured release workflows and deployment processes across development, staging, and production.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong ownership mentality and accountability for site stability, performance, and customer experience, including the health of the storefront and the integrity of the lead-to-cash journey
  • Performance‑first mindset with a focus on mobile usability and reliability
  • Comfortable working cross‑functionally with Marketing, UX, IT, Sales, Customer Success, and external partners
  • Proactive, solution‑oriented approach to identifying and resolving issues before they impact users, traffic, conversion, purchase, or pipeline

Responsibilities

  • Own front‑end development and user experience across Adobe Commerce, with growing technical ownership over time, and full‑stack development across WordPress, including custom templates, themes, plugins, CMS enhancements, and site functionality.
  • Design and build custom features and tools to support content management, lead capture, personalization, merchandising, and ongoing site improvements.
  • Create and maintain standard site pages and content updates to support campaigns, product launches, and ongoing business needs.
  • Translate business needs, stakeholder ideas, and UX direction into scalable, maintainable, and well‑designed web experiences, applying UX and visual design best practices.
  • Own site performance and Core Web Vitals, ensuring fast, stable, mobile‑first experiences.
  • Manage and optimize hosting and infrastructure tooling, including WP Engine environments and Cloudflare DNS, CDN, security, and cache management.
  • Diagnose and resolve production issues related to performance, storefront behavior, and user friction.
  • Implement structured data, technical SEO best practices, and site architecture that support discoverability, accessibility, and analytics accuracy across traditional and AI‑driven search.
  • Implement, validate, and troubleshoot analytics, personalization, and marketing technology integrations to ensure reliable attribution and measurement.
  • Partner with IT to support secure data flows between web platforms and key marketing and enterprise systems.
  • Own release governance from staging through production, including review and approval of externally delivered code and changes to ensure standards for security, performance, scalability, and maintainability are met.
  • Serve as the technical point of contact between internal stakeholders and external partners supporting the e‑commerce platform.

Benefits

  • We offer an excellent benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life and LTD insurance, HSA, and a 401(k) retirement plan.
