About The Position

As a Full Stack Application Developer reporting to Director of Software Engineering, you’ll play a critical role in shaping Nasdaq’s next-generation technology platforms that power global markets. You will own individual contributions and collaborate with a team to deliver different solutions that satisfy the clients requirements. You’ll thrive in this position if you’re a strong communicator, critical thinker, and have a passion for creating scalable solutions in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

Requirements

  • Experience with OO design/development (Java/Spring Boot)
  • Experience with modern UI frameworks (ReactJS)
  • Comfortable using git as a version control system (GitLab)

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of Dependency Injection/IoC
  • Experience with cloud services (AWS)
  • Experience with Kubernetes
  • Experience building multi-threaded solutions handling high data load.
  • Linux based development (scripting, deployment)
  • Experience setting up CI/CD
  • Experience with SQL, Typescript, Docker, Kafka, Redis, Gradle
  • Willingness to learn new technologies
  • Familiar with Jira and Confluence

Responsibilities

  • Review application requirements and business processes
  • Actively contribute to design sessions and team discussions
  • Develop features from requirements to completion with limited supervision
  • Write unit and integration tests that verify requirements are met
  • Review code and provide feedback on what can be improved
  • Debug issues that arise; implement and deploy fixes
  • Improve application performance and enhance product usability
  • Work in an agile environment; iterate over greenfield development and adapt to requirement changes

  • The base pay range for this role is $97,000 - $170,000.
