Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world. Raytheon is looking to hire a Full Motion Video Field Support Engineer to join our team. In this role you will provide integration, operation, and maintenance support for unclassified and classified networks. To be successful in this role you must be able to learn quickly, be a team player, and have good communication and documentation skills. If you have strong troubleshooting skills and have the discipline to work independently or unsupervised when necessary and working within a time critical, physically demanding environment as the subject matter expert within the given domain and willing to support the team in a variety of tasks, then this role is for you. You will work as member of team that provides 24/7 support /or expected to work shift (no standard work week). Occasional ability to work short notice extended work week to meet customer needs. This unaccompanied position will be onsite in Doha, Qatar for a long-term international assignment. Employment is contingent upon meeting all medical requirements for overseas assignments including comprehensive post-offer medical examination.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
  • Experience with systems / network experience (multicast / unicast) and cross domain network solutions.
  • Experience with Microsoft specific systems administration and VMWare.
  • Experience with Encryptor devices (TACLANE / KG).
  • Experience working / interfacing with Air Force military customers.
  • Experience with one or more of the following Microsoft and/or Cisco certifications: Microsoft MCSA/MCSE 2003/2008/2012, MCITP, Cisco CCENT, CCNA, CCNP.
  • Be familiar with DoD/DISA network security requirements, Information Assurance procedures and guidelines.
  • Familiarity with Operations Center infrastructure / systems.
  • Must meet DoD 8570.01 baseline certification requirements for IAT Level II.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI access.
  • Experience building and deploying Windows based products such as Windows Server 2019/2022.
  • Experience with MS PowerShell and VBScript.
  • Possess strong spoken, written and verbal communication skills, and presentation skills to support program situational reports (SITREPs), briefings and demonstrations.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for implementation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrading systems hardware and software configurations.
  • Ensure total operational and functional compatibility with interfacing/interacting systems, subsystems, equipment, and computer applications.
  • Provide system demos and briefings to the government as required, provide daily situational reports (SITREPs), participate in status calls, and attend other meetings as required.
  • Support on-the-job training of additional O&M personnel, contractors, and military personnel.
  • In this role you will be working with Windows Based Active Directory Domains, VMWare, Video Surveillance Software, Cisco Switches/Routers, and Video over IP (Multicast and Unicast-based).
