About The Position

Fulfillment Team Member - Picking / Packing / Check PackSilver Star Brands | Oshkosh, WI | 1st Shift | 6 or 8 am start! Full time. Looking for dedicated workers who thrive in a fast paced warehouse environment!Seasonal positions are now available for the fall!WHO WE ARE A people-oriented local Oshkosh company founded in 1934 as Miles Kimball- were continuing to evolve and grow!One of America's first and largest direct marketers of consumer gifts and household products!Brands include: Miles Kimball, Walter Drake, Easy Comforts, Native Remedies, Pet Alive, Dream Products, Fox Valley Traders, and StarcrestWHAT YOU'LL BE DOINGOne of the following:Picking: In assigned work area of the fulfillment warehouse, picking and packing item(s) quickly and accurately into totes and returning totes to conveyorCheck / Packing: Verify that items in tote conform to customer order accurately as noted on work ticket and packaging order before it leaves fulfillment warehouseSupport Functions: Fill in as needed in picking / packing / bagging / packaging areas for fast paced support of team members throughout the fulfillment warehouseIn addition to primary functions, seasonal team members (1st shift) may be crossed trained in one or more of the following tasks:Producing work ordersMaterial handlingTruck loadingManifestingMoving / arranging totes and /or boxesSupport functions will require standing, lifting, pulling, grasping, and walkingThis is not an exhaustive list of duties or functions and may not necessarily comprise all the "essential functions" for purposes of the ADA.

Requirements

Ability to comprehend and follow instructions and to read and write in English
Requires extended periods of standing and moving at a fast pace
Requires physical manipulation of merchandise / materials by walking, bending, grasping, pushing, pulling, and lifting
Requires ability to lift 5 to 15 pounds regularly throughout the day, with ability to lift heavier weight (up to 50 pounds) periodically
Must have communication, problem solving, interpersonal, and some computer skills
Must be available to work during scheduled shifts (mornings or afternoons / evenings)

High School Diploma / GED preferred

Responsibilities

Picking: In assigned work area of the fulfillment warehouse, picking and packing item(s) quickly and accurately into totes and returning totes to conveyor
Check / Packing: Verify that items in tote conform to customer order accurately as noted on work ticket and packaging order before it leaves fulfillment warehouse
Support Functions: Fill in as needed in picking / packing / bagging / packaging areas for fast paced support of team members throughout the fulfillment warehouse
