At National Trade Supply, the Fulfillment Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring smooth, efficient, and accurate warehouse operations across inbound, outbound, inventory flow, and daily floor leadership. This versatile role goes beyond a single functional lane — providing holistic support across the fulfillment lifecycle, from receiving and putaway to picking, packing, shipping, and returns processing. The Fulfillment Supervisor leads a team of associates, maintains strong cross-department communication, and drives continuous improvement across all workflows. This role requires a hands-on leader who embodies NT Supply’s Core Values — Grit, Bias for Action, Critical Thinking, Self-Awareness, and Operational Excellence — while fostering a reliable, high-energy, and safety-focused culture.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of leadership experience in fulfillment, logistics, warehousing, or manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and safety.
  • Strong communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Hands-on experience with receiving, putaway, picking, packing, shipping, and/or returns workflows.
  • Familiarity with warehouse technology, including WMS systems, RF scanners, and basic reporting tools.
  • Strong understanding of safety standards, best practices, and OSHA guidelines within a warehouse environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain high accuracy, manage competing priorities, and deliver consistent execution.

Responsibilities

  • Select, train, coach, and mentor associates across inbound, outbound, inventory control, and returns workflows.
  • Foster a positive, high-energy team environment aligned with NT Supply’s Core Values.
  • Provide real-time coaching, performance feedback, and recognition.
  • Promote teamwork, accountability, and proactive communication across shifts and departments.
  • Oversee receiving operations to ensure timely unloading, inspection, and documentation of all inbound shipments.
  • Validate incoming goods against purchase orders; escalate discrepancies promptly.
  • Coordinate dock schedules to minimize congestion and ensure smooth inbound flow.
  • Direct efficient and accurate putaway of materials into designated storage locations.
  • Maintain FIFO/FEFO compliance and support location accuracy.
  • Partner with Inventory Control on cycle counts, root-cause reviews, and shrink reduction.
  • Oversee the receiving, sorting, and disposition of customer returns (restock, refurbish, scrap).
  • Track trends and communicate insights that may signal product, packaging, or quality opportunities.
  • Oversee picking, packing, shipping, and order verification activities to ensure accuracy, quality, and on-time fulfillment.
  • Allocate labor to balance workload, reduce bottlenecks, and sustain consistent flow.
  • Ensure SOPs are followed, updated, and continuously improved for efficiency and clarity.
  • Monitor key outbound KPIs: order accuracy, on-time shipment, productivity, error rates.
  • Partner with Inventory, Receiving, Procurement, Customer Service, and CX to resolve operational issues and keep orders moving smoothly.
  • Communicate exceptions, delays, and product issues proactively.
  • Coordinate with leadership during peak periods to ensure adequate staffing, resource planning, and workflow alignment.
  • Model and enforce all safety standards; identify hazards and act immediately to correct them.
  • Conduct routine safety checks and participate in investigations and corrective actions.
  • Promote a “Safety First” culture through consistent communication and accountability.
  • Identify inefficiencies across inbound and outbound operations and lead improvement initiatives using Lean and root-cause analysis.
  • Recommend and implement changes that improve accuracy, throughput, quality, and associate engagement.
  • Use data to support decision-making and set measurable goals for improvement.

  • A culture that’s always striving to learn, improve, and grow — together.
  • Opportunities for professional development, mentorship, and career growth.
  • True work-life balance: we believe great work happens when people have the space to recharge and take care of themselves outside of work.
  • Direct access to leadership and decision-makers — your ideas won't get lost in layers of bureaucracy.
  • A role where your work will make a real, measurable impact — improving the online shopping experience for customers and driving meaningful growth for the business.
  • A collaborative environment where everyone's voice matters and innovative thinking is encouraged.
