About The Position

At Ford, as a Fulfillment Operations Analyst within the Manufacturing team, you will be instrumental in overseeing North American supplier manufacturing from a supply chain and logistics perspective. This role is critical for ensuring production stability by proactively managing daily and weekly schedules, optimizing supply chain tools like Ascent and Pega to identify risks, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to mitigate premium freight costs. You will be expected to provide leadership with clear visibility into supply constraints, offering data-driven solutions, and fostering cross-functional collaboration with various teams including Purchasing, Supplier Technical Assistance (STA), Supplier Operations (SOT), Product Development, and plant teams to resolve complex fulfillment issues. Additionally, you will manage critical suppliers to ensure their full compliance with Ford’s global terms, expectations, and performance standards. The position demands strategic thinking, effective leadership, and the capability to manage multiple issues simultaneously across various plants and suppliers, contributing to the production of world-class, state-of-the-art smart vehicles.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 2 years of experience in operations and data analytics.
  • Technical proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
  • A proven track record in manufacturing or supply chain operations, including inbound/outbound flows, packaging, and warehouse management.
  • Demonstrated experience in SAP, Alteryx, or similar data analysis tools.
  • Deep knowledge of Ford production planning and execution, with specific proficiency in MP&L systems such as CMMS, Super G, GCP, and MCPV.
  • Advanced data analytical skills to gather data from multiple sources, identify root causes/trends, and recommend operational improvements for supplier delivery performance.
  • Strong data storytelling capabilities, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights that enable data-driven decision-making.
  • A proactive "bias for action," focused on identifying and resolving supply risks within the "clear to build" horizon to ensure operational stability.
  • Demonstrated experience managing diverse supply chain functions, including demand and supply planning and in-plant logistics operations.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize Supply Chain Tools: Utilize Ascent and Pega to identify supply risks and drive operational efficiencies that expand the horizon for risk evaluation.
  • Protect Production Stability: Proactively manage daily and weekly schedules to ensure existing operating plans are met without the need for remixes or production losses.
  • Drive Cost Mitigation: Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce premium freight costs by optimizing processes and collaborating with the MP&L Logistics organization.
  • Communicate & Escalate Risk: Provide leadership with clear visibility into supply constraints, offering data-driven solutions and defined paths for escalation.
  • Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Purchasing, Supplier Technical Assistance (STA), Supplier Operations (SOT), Product Development, and plant teams to resolve complex fulfillment issues.
  • Manage Supplier Accountability: Oversee critical suppliers to ensure full compliance with Ford’s global terms, expectations, and performance standards.
