About The Position

Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Hand Assembly Lead, where you will play a vital role in coordinating production activities, ensuring quality standards, and fostering effective communication within the plant. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications preferred.
  • Proven experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production environments.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions, diagrams, and quality standards.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with production management software.
  • Pushing/Pulling 50 lbs.
  • Lifting minimum per day 30 – 50 lbs. Occasionally
  • Lifting minimum per day 20 – 30 lbs. Frequently
  • Lifting minimum per day 10 - 20 lbs. Constantly
  • Requires use of proper body mechanics with pushing, pulling, reaching, lifting, squatting, kneeling and bending.
  • Requires fine motor hand and arm movement, manual dexterity and coordination.
  • Requires near visual acuity.
  • Requires working around and operating departmental equipment.
  • Requires the ability to function in a professional manner under stressful circumstances.
  • Hours may vary depending on departmental staffing needs.
  • Must comply with dress code of department/company.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the production of hand assembly jobs to meet quality and delivery targets.
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication among hand assembly team members and other plant departments.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to maintain workflow.
  • Ensure all processes and quality control procedures are followed consistently.
  • Supervise and support team members, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Maintain accurate production records and report on key performance metrics.
  • Assist in identifying process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
