About The Position

The Fulfillment Director is responsible for leading the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of Turtlebox’s end-to-end fulfillment operations across our distribution network. This role oversees all order fulfillment activities for Direct-to-Consumer and Wholesale channels while ensuring operational excellence across third-party logistics partners and internal warehouse operations. The Director of Fulfillment will drive scalable processes, service-level performance, and operational efficiency to support the company’s rapid growth. This leader will manage fulfillment execution across multiple 3PL facilities, ensure adherence to customer and retailer requirements, and partner closely with Planning, Sales, Finance, and Logistics to deliver a best-in-class customer experience.

Requirements

10+ years of experience in fulfillment, logistics, supply chain, or distribution operations.
5+ years in a leadership role managing fulfillment teams or large distribution networks.
Demonstrated success managing multi-warehouse, multi-channel fulfillment operations in consumer goods or related industries.
Deep experience working with third-party logistics providers and managing distribution networks.
Strong operational and analytical mindset with advanced Excel or data analysis capabilities.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders across operations, sales, and finance.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills in fast-growing environments.

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end fulfillment execution strategy across all distribution locations and third-party logistics partners.
Ensure accurate, efficient, and timely processing of all Direct-to-Consumer and Wholesale orders.
Oversee order routing and fulfillment execution across the company’s 3PL network.
Establish and maintain fulfillment service level agreements (SLAs) and performance metrics across all distribution partners.
Lead resolution of fulfillment disruptions, capacity constraints, and operational issues impacting service or delivery performance.
Oversee fulfillment operations for key wholesale accounts, ensuring compliance with routing guides, EDI requirements, and delivery standards.
Ensure orders are fulfilled in accordance with retailer requirements, shipment windows, and customer-specific operational processes.
Partner with Sales and Key Account teams to proactively support major customer launches, seasonal demand, and promotional activity.
Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, including service performance, operational execution, and contract adherence.
Monitor fulfillment and logistics performance metrics including order accuracy, shipment timelines, cost efficiency, and service reliability.
Evaluate distribution network performance and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, scalability, and cost structure.
Partner closely with Business Planning and Supply Chain teams to align fulfillment execution with production schedules, inventory availability, and channel demand.
Collaborate with Finance and Operations leadership to support inventory flow, working capital efficiency, and operational performance goals.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure successful product launches, channel expansions, and operational initiatives.
Other responsibilities can and will be assigned either temporarily or permanently to this position.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives across fulfillment operations to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
Develop standardized operating procedures across fulfillment partners and distribution locations.
Identify and implement automation, technology, and process improvements that support long-term operational growth.
Lead and develop the fulfillment and logistics team, setting clear performance expectations and operational goals.
Foster a culture of accountability, operational discipline, and continuous improvement.
Support the growth of operational talent and build a high-performing fulfillment organization.
