About The Position

The Customer Service / Order Processing Coordinator manages customer orders from entry through completion, ensuring accuracy, timely communication, and proper documentation. This role supports operations by coordinating order processing, inventory tracking, billing, and customer service activities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Warehouse, logistics, inventory, or customer service experience preferred
  • Strong organization, multitasking, and attention to detail
  • Professional communication skills
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Windows)
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations

Responsibilities

  • Process customer orders, including wave planning, printing, and organizing paperwork and labels
  • Verify product availability by running inventory and stock reports
  • Generate and review order documentation, including special requests and inventory updates
  • Research delayed orders and provide updates to the Operations Team
  • Coordinate with internal departments to meet service standards
  • Review invoices to ensure accurate billing
  • Maintain records for damages, back-orders, returns, and customer credits
  • Track and trace orders and handle special or expedited shipping requests
  • Maintain organized files and basic customer service reports
  • Answer phones, greet visitors, and perform other assigned duties
