Your Opportunity, Your Team The Area Manager supports QVC, and will oversee the distribution operation department, partnering with other departments. Monitored and controlled, prioritizes, assigns, and reviews maintain departmental efficiency and meet productivity, volume and quality goals. You will work onsite in Florence, SC and report to the Operations Manager. Where You'll Work This role is onsite and will require you to work from our Florence, SC, fulfillment center daily. Relocation assistance is not available for this role. What You'll Do Develop and administer operational procedures for perfectly completing activities for incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of products, and keeping the highest standards of inventory accuracy. Network and consult with corporate / site resources and facilities staff to ensure low-cost efficiencies and high service levels are maintained. Model QVC Group Values and operating principles to build a positive, motivating, engaged Culture, treating all employees fairly, ethically, and respectfully. Review existing operations to determine what improvements the department can make to allow for cost reduction, increased speed, and improved customer service. Oversee daily operations for assigned area, partnering with other departments. Identify, report, and communicate with the Department Manager trends and irregularities. Take an approach to analyzing deficiencies and develop plans to correct them. What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Distribution, Logistics or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 2 years of demonstrated Leadership/Supervisory experience in a high volume distribution center or warehouse environment. Requirements
