About The Position

MD&A, a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Power, is seeking a Fuel Nozzle Technician for its fuel nozzle services facility in Houston, Texas. MD&A’s Industrial Gas Turbine Division refurbishes gas turbine components, namely Combustion, Nozzles/Vanes, Buckets/Blades & Fuel Nozzles. Job Description: Working under the direction of a Fuel Nozzle Cell Leader to perform essential tasks and processes associated with the inspection, cleaning, diagnostics, and testing of Industrial Gas Turbine Fuel Nozzles.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must prioritize, plan, and execute all assigned tasks safely.
Use of fingers and hands to write; reach with hands and arms.
Able to read and interpret written technical orders and plans.
Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Mechanical aptitude to disassemble and reassemble using hand tools and fixturing.
Responsible for the quality of the product through the work cell.
Perform flow tests on both the air and liquid circuits of the products.
Safely execute mechanical assembly and disassembly of Fuel Nozzle products.
Maintain and practice good housekeeping in the assigned work area.
Responsible for maintaining proper inventory control in the work area.
Perform periodic preventive maintenance on all departmental equipment and tools.
Maintain and adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices and housekeeping policies.
Promote and execute compliance with all safety and quality policies, specifications, regulations, and instructions.
Able to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and the occasional mandatory overtime when needed.
Adhere to and follow established assigned work hours.
Perform all related tasks assigned by management
