About The Position
This position is responsible for maximizing the practice of efficient fuel purchase and fleet consumption through management of fuel economy at USA Truck. This position provides oversight and management services to the Procurement Services Division. You will manage and participate in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, and priorities for assigned tasks. What will you enjoy doing (duties/tasks) Minimize fleet cost per gallon (CPG) through efficient fuel and DEF sourcing. Maximize miles per gallon (MPG) performance of fleet operators. Perform fleet audits and advise driver managers Maximize card services (Comdata) efficiency through process review and incorporation of industry best practices Identify areas for cost efficiency
