About The Position

Legacy Behavioral Health is seeking an APEX Therapist to join their team in Tift County. In this role, the therapist will play a key part in supporting individuals and families throughout South Georgia with compassionate, high-quality behavioral health services. Legacy Behavioral Health Services is a leading provider of mental health and substance use services across 10 counties in South Georgia. Requirements

• Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or counseling with a supervised clinical practicum
• Degree must be license eligible
• Dedicated to quality work
• Self-starter and goal orientated
• A valid Georgia driver’s license
• Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication, conflict resolution, and teamwork
• Computer experience

Nice To Haves

• Clinical license (LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, LAMFT, LPC, LAPC)
• Experience working in the social services field

Responsibilities

• Completion of complex psychosocial assessments
• Treatment team participation
• Treatment planning/monitoring
• Discharge planning
• Provide individual, family, and group counseling to consumers and their families
• Collaborate with community referral sources and physicians to ensure continuity of care
