Current Position Openings - FT Assistant Professor of Business & Accounting (On and Off Campus)Position Title: FT Assistant Professor of Business & Accounting (On and Off Campus) Position Classification: Full-Time Nine (9) Month Faculty Minimum Position Qualifications: Academic Rank: Assistant Professor Education - Bachelors Degree in Accounting and Masters Degree in Accounting, Taxation, Business Administration, or a related field; CPA preferred. Experience - Three (3) years of experience teaching accounting and business at the college level is required; experience with Microsoft Excel and Word, and with commercial accounting software is required; experience teaching general business courses, teaching in distance learning formats, and using online course materials preferred; work experience in either private or public accounting is preferred. Skills - Demonstrated capability of using innovative teaching strategies involving Distance Education and On-line courses; demonstrated ability to work collegially and collaboratively with diverse internal and external constituencies. Position Responsibilities: Teach organized accounting and general business courses in the Business Department in accordance with the official schedule of classes as assigned by the Business & CIS Department Chairperson; teaching assignments will include but not be limited to accounting, business law, marketing, human resources management, and other general business courses; assessment of student learning at the program level; participation in department meetings and activities as requested. Entry Salary: $43,807.00/annual Standard Work Week: 35 Apply End Date: November 30, 2025.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting and Masters Degree in Accounting, Taxation, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Three (3) years of experience teaching accounting and business at the college level is required
