About The Position

This position is responsible for performing physical and visual inspections of product and plant systems, accurately documenting and calculating results. The role involves taking corrective action when necessary, such as alerting appropriate personnel to adjust processes, identifying, segregating, and isolating non-conforming product, and reporting results to management. Additionally, the FSQA Tech will handle any other assignments requested. All team members are responsible for safety, including personal safety and food safety.

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year experience in the Poultry industry or other QA type experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Possess skills to complete Tyson paperwork
Ability to lead by example and motivate the hourly workforce
Good problem identification and problem solving skills
Math and organizational skills
Ability to read and interpret product specifications
Must function well under stress
Must have flexibility to work where and when needed
No more than 6 attendance points and no write ups within the last 12 months

Nice To Haves

High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Some college preferred
