About The Position

This location, a part of our Prepared Foods Division, seeks a dedicated FSQA Supervisor to play a pivotal role in upholding quality standards for our food products. This role involves engaging in variable work activities that demand sound judgment, including prioritization, result evaluation, and effective coordination with colleagues.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in Food Science or a related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years in a food manufacturing environment, preferably with ready-to-eat or toppings production; Strong understanding of HACCP, USDA, GMP, and SSOP’s.
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer skills for creating simple queries, spreadsheets, etc. SAP knowledge is advantageous.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual abilities are a plus.
  • Supervisory: This role involves supervising a small group of personnel with somewhat similar tasks.

  • Must reside in the United States to be considered.

  • Additional Internal Requirements: Must not have four (4) or more attendance points on an eight (8) point policy.

  • No record of suspension in the last twelve (12) months.

Responsibilities

  • Supervisor 1st Shift FSQA Team Members both Manufacturing and RTE sides
  • Ensure daily completion of FSQA tasks, inspections, pre-shipments and release of products
  • Investigate and address customer complaints, foreign material incidents, and environmental issues.
  • Ensure compliance with all FSQA and site procedures and policies
  • Ensure ongoing HACCP/SSOP compliance
  • Conduct audits and assist the FSQA manager in ensuring compliance with quality standards.
  • Prepare the facility for GFSI and customer-specific audits.
  • Verify production paperwork and conduct production floor checks.
  • Execute GMP and housekeeping audits.
  • Facilitate Team Member food safety training.
  • Perform a variety of tasks requiring sound judgment, including prioritization, result evaluation, and effective collaboration with colleagues.
  • Flexibility in work hours is required, with coverage on other shifts (as needed).
  • Occasional weekend work may be assigned by the Manager.
  • Work with the FSIS Inspectors on site
  • Lead assigned meetings
  • Manage forms in SafetyChain
