About The Position

Join Clemens Food Group through our FSQA Graduate Development Program, a 10-week, hands-on training experience designed to prepare you for a full-time role as a Food Safety & Quality Assurance (FSQA) Technician and/or entry level management position upon successful completion of the program. This is not a traditional internship, it’s a structured, immersive program that provides real-world experience in plant operations, food safety systems, and quality processes. About the Program Our Graduate Development Program is designed to help you successfully transition from college into a career in food safety and quality. Over the course of 10 weeks, you will: Gain hands-on experience in production environments Learn how food safety and quality systems are applied in real time Work alongside experienced FSQA professionals and cross-functional teams Build the technical and operational skills needed to succeed as an FSQA Technician You will also participate in monthly cohort-based development sessions alongside our Leadership Development Program (LDP) continuing even after you transition into your full-time role. What You’ll Do During the program, you’ll build the foundation needed to step into a technical role by:

Requirements

  • Graduating May 2026 with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Meat Science, Food Science, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes
  • Interest in food safety, quality assurance, or manufacturing operations
  • Basic computer skills (Excel and Word)
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

  • Performing quality assessments related to product specifications, sanitation, and team member practices
  • Supporting food safety and quality systems across production environments
  • Assisting with root cause analysis (RCA) and identifying process improvement opportunities
  • Participating in audits, regulatory inspections, and compliance activities
  • Collaborating with Operations, Sanitation, Engineering, and other teams to ensure food safety standards are met
  • Contributing to projects that improve product quality, efficiency, and compliance
  • Learning how to monitor, analyze, and act on data to maintain product integrity
