The QC Auditor performs the inspection of products and monitoring procedures to ensure SOP’s and GMP’s are correctly followed under the supervision and direction of the Q&PC Supervisor. Collects samples from required areas of the plant and transfers samples to the laboratory Verifies internal temperature of products Perform pre-operational evaluations on production rooms and machinery Performs audits of incoming raw product and outgoing finished product Monitors production personnel to ensure employee hygiene practices are followed correctly Verifies the calibration of production instruments (i.e. metal detector, scales) Maintains proper documentation of audits and evaluations Must be able to stand between 2 – 3 hours at a time Must be willing to follow all GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) of the company which include but are not limited to: use of a hair net, use of gloves, use of a company approved frock and rubber boots, no jewelry, no nail polish or artificial nails, no shorts, no open-toed shoes, no ripped clothing or rhinestones/glitter on clothing, no chewing gum, candy or tobacco.
