Job Summary: EY Financial Services is a unique, industry-focused business unit that provides a broad range of integrated services that leverage deep industry experience with strong functional capability and product knowledge. The Technology Consulting practice works with clients to analyze, formulate, design, mobilize and drive strategic transformation initiatives. We advise clients on their most pressing strategic challenges and opportunities surround business strategy, customer, growth, profit optimization, innovation, technology strategy, and digital transformation. We also have a unique ability to help our clients translate strategy into actionable technical design, and transformation planning/mobilization. Through our unique combination of competencies and solutions, EY’s Financial Services Technology Consulting team helps our clients sustain competitive advantage and profitability by developing strategies to stay ahead of the rapid pace of change and disruption and supporting the execution of complex transformations. The Technology Resiliency Senior will work with clients to plan and deliver business-led, technology-driven transformation programs. You will develop practical, executable plans to manage the journey from strategy through execution. You will use industry-leading program management tools to accelerate start-up and enable highly efficient and effective program management.

Requirements

  • B.A., B.S or equivalent degree in computer science or technology, business administration, finance, or engineering OR Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems Management, Accounting or Finance
  • Two years of experience using industry leading IT methodologies and management processes. Preferred frameworks include CMMI, COBIT, ITIL, Six Sigma, ISO 27001, ISO 22301, TOGAF, IVI, NIST 800-53, project management life cycles, systems development life cycles, PMBOK, Prince2, or data center operations.
  • Financial Services industry experience
  • Two years of experience working in the IT group or within an Enterprise BC/DR/Crisis Management/Resiliency area at a financial services company or comparable experience working as a consultant in a professional services firm delivering advisory services on resiliency solutions.
  • Experience developing presentations and reports that communicate assessment gaps/findings to both technical, non-technical audiences, and senior executives.
  • Experience using the following Financial Services regulatory bodies and references such as FFIEC, OCC, FINRA, FHFA, CFTC, SEC, Dodd-Frank and FSARC
  • Understanding of commercial and retail banking, investment, capital markets, insurance, and or related industries and operations preferred
  • Broad knowledge of IT functions and IT operations and how IT enables the business through effective strategic planning, governance, and management discipline
  • Experience using Technology and Risk Management Tooling (ServiceNow, SAS Risk Management, ARIS/Alfabet, Mega, Fusion Risk, etc.)
  • Two or more years direct experience in Business Continuity Management, Disaster Recovery, Crisis Management, Resiliency or Technology Environments, Architecture and Design services (architecture, engineering design and development, service design, operations and delivery, disaster recovery, and application architecture).

  • The Candidate must have the ability to travel in accordance with client and other job requirements. This travel can be as much as 80% to 100% of a work week. Travel may be international.

  • The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $102,500 to $187,900.
  • The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $122,900 to $213,400.
  • Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
  • In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
  • Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances.
