This position will be accountable for the management and growth of the MegaMex Foods Food Service business in position’s prescribed district. This will include working with regional food service distributors, regional operators, & channels of business such as hospitality and healthcare. In addition to achieving sales and profitability targets, responsibilities include directing and managing broker networks as well as relationship development with all major regional operators and distributors in their area. The Regional Manager will work closely with other Regional Managers in similar zones.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university; and six years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Background in Food Service industry or culinary fields required.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a working knowledge of the Microsoft Windows suite of program applications (Excel, Word, MS Teams etc.) and trade management systems / software.
  • Must be able to travel 50% of the time.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual (Spanish speaking preferred)
  • knowledge / experience in managing GPOs (ex. Aramark, Compass, Foodbuy)
  • culinary experience & passion for Mexican Foods

Responsibilities

  • Deliver sales growth and market dominance by strengthening MegaMex Foods penetration in all key accounts / distributors.
  • Deliver and exceed profitability targets for area.
  • Manages and develops broker network to drive results.
  • Maintains strong communication and interaction with the rest of MegaMex Regional Sales Managers
  • Timely and accurate district administration
