Position Summary: The Frontline Coordinator is a key position within our manufacturing plants and supports our production team leads as they drive production to the highest safety, quality and efficiency standards by fully embracing the Company’s philosophy. This role is a position that requires work exposure in multiple areas in our refrigerated production environment. The Frontline Coordinator supports the coaching and training of team members on safety, quality and production standards. This position is also responsible for the tracking of production metrics during the course of the production runs and communicating back to the line team to support achievement of manufacturing key performance indicators.

Requirements

  • GED/High School Diploma
  • Entry level requires 2-4 years of related experience.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English; comprehension of basic math.
  • Willingness and flexibility to work in a cold, wet, fast-paced, 24 hour plant environment.
  • Knowledge of HACCP & Sanitation guidelines and processes.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Fully understands department/function/line from start to finish; has prior exposure/experience in department/function/line and/or ability to learn quickly (i.e. if from outside)
  • Ability to be cross trained and efficiently run 4 or more lines.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

  • Follows and enforces GMP/PPE and Safety guidelines.
  • Follows and maintains HACCP & Sanitation guidelines and processes.
  • Complete and communicate (verbally & in writing), downtime reporting, performance efficiency, rework, and hourly reports.
  • Able to understand and explain to associates the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
  • Able to understand and explain to associates how to use the Efficiency Tracking System.
  • Oversee and maintain good housekeeping practices, sanitation, and SQF Regulatory Requirements.
  • Complete and maintain yield standards, daily schedule, quality verification, and product change.
  • Verifies products to meet quality standards without having foreign objects or defects.
  • Four equipment related skills for operators: Ability to detect abnormalities. Ability to correct abnormalities and restore functioning. Ability to set optimum equipment conditions. Ability to maintain optimal equipment conditions.
  • Facilitate basic machine troubleshooting/inspections for equipment.
  • Oversee machine set-up and operation.
  • Oversee product rotation, availability, and calculation/specification.
  • Lead, coach, train, and delegate tasks to team members.
  • Coordination of staffing of line(s), breaks, lunches and communications to supervisor.
  • Communicate and educate line associates on good product, quality, and safety.
  • Exhibit and lead good people skills and Bonduelle core values.
  • Support additional projects of limited complexity.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
