About The Position

Aretum is seeking a skilled and motivated Frontend Vue.js Developer to assist with the integration of a custom application with other client-based systems. This is a contingent position, meaning employment is dependent upon the successful award of the associated contract to Aretum and completion of any required background investigation or security clearance verification. Due to the nature of the work as a federal consulting organization, employees may be expected to handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and must adhere to applicable safeguarding and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of custom web application development experience
• 3+ years of VueJS 3+ experience
• 5+ years of experience with full-stack development, including understanding UI frameworks and back-end architecture interactions
• Bachelor’s Degree (or 2 additional years of experience)
• JavaScript/CSS experience
• Strong experience developing/consuming FastAPIs and/or RESTful web services
• Solid knowledge of Scrum, Kanban Agile development methodologies
• Excellent issue resolution skills within open-source products
• Continuous integration (CI) experience
• Understanding mobile-friendliness of websites
• Familiarity with Section 508 standards
• Strong analytical, collaboration, and communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, engineering or related field
• Experience with the federal government
• Experience with Vite, Quasar, or Pinia (Highly preferred)
• Proficiency with Agile project management tools (Jira, Confluence)
• Experience working in Scrum or SAFe environments with 2 to 3 week sprint cycles
• Experience with Python back-end coding
