Role overview We’re hiring a dedicated Frontend Engineer to drive the evolution of our user interfaces and frontend architecture as TimeZest enters an exciting new chapter. You’ll take full ownership of our new design system and component library - building, extending, and refining it as the product grows. You’ll translate evolving Figma concepts into high-quality, production-ready interfaces. We’re looking for a strong frontend engineer with deep expertise in modern React, robust state-management patterns, and solid web fundamentals - someone who is curious, adaptable, and fearless about exploring new domains as the product evolves.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional web development experience, with at least four of those focused on frontend development
  • Strong expertise with React, Redux (or equivalent state management approaches), and TypeScript
  • Strong understanding of web fundamentals: JS internals, DOM, asynchronous programming, performance, accessibility
  • A track record of building and maintaining design systems, shared component libraries and working with Figma
  • Experience with UI testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library)
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills within a fully remote, async-friendly team

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with Rails backends or full-stack environments
  • Familiarity with GraphQL or REST API integration patterns

Responsibilities

  • Design and build high-quality user interfaces using React, TypeScript, and modern web standards
  • Own and evolve our design system and shared component library
  • Drive frontend architecture decisions, especially around state management, complex user flows, and UI performance
  • Collaborate closely with backend engineers, product, and design to take features from concept to production
  • Shape our LLM enhanced UX: help create user experiences that integrate AI assistance, intelligent actions, and workflows responsibly and effectively
  • Drive frontend best practices – testing, accessibility, code quality, documentation, and maintainability
