We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented Frontend Engineer for Intern position who is eager to learn and grow in the field of web development. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing user-facing features, working with modern frontend technologies, and contributing to the overall development of web applications. Applications will be open until [END DATE] and interviews could start immediately after the submission of an application. This role has a duration of 10 weeks with flexible start and end date. Please note that we are only considering candidates who graduated in Spring 2026 and are local to the Bay Area, as this role follows a hybrid schedule with three in‑office days per week.

Requirements

  • Must have graduated in Spring 2026 with a BS, MS, or PhD degree in any fields related to science, applied science, or engineering
  • Basic knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with frontend frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Basic experience with version control tools (Git).
  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for building great user interfaces.
  • Good communication skills and a willingness to learn from more experienced team members.
  • Must be local to the bay area, or willing to relocate, and come into office 3 days/week (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday)

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with CSS preprocessors (SASS, LESS).
  • Basic knowledge of state management tools (Redux, Vuex, etc.).
  • Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and maintaining responsive, user-friendly, and accessible web applications.
  • Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code following best practices and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with the design team to implement pixel-perfect UI designs.
  • Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure high-quality software.
  • Work closely with backend engineers to integrate frontend components with APIs and other services.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging frontend technologies and trends.
