About The Position

We are looking for a Frontend Engineer to build the interfaces that enable humans to interact with, monitor, and control our robots. In this role, you will develop web and native applications for interactive control interfaces, customer-facing dashboards, data visualization, and internal tools. Your work will shape how operators, researchers, and customers experience our technology. You'll tackle unique challenges at the intersection of frontend development and robotics—from real-time data visualization to responsive controls with strict latency requirements. Our interfaces are primarily web-based today, with plans to expand to native mobile applications as we grow.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2+ years of professional frontend development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript.
  • Experience with React and modern frontend tooling.
  • Understanding of web performance optimization and responsive design.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and WebSocket-based real-time communication.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with native mobile development (React Native, Flutter, Swift, Kotlin).
  • Experience building control interfaces or dashboards for hardware systems.
  • Familiarity with video streaming protocols (WebRTC, HLS).
  • Experience with 3D graphics libraries (Three.js, Babylon.js) or WebGL.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain customer-facing robot control interfaces enabling intuitive operation of our robots.
  • Develop real-time data visualization tools for robotics telemetry and analytics.
  • Create internal tools that accelerate development and operations workflows.
  • Optimize frontend performance for low-latency, real-time interactions.
  • Collaborate with robotics and backend teams to design APIs and data models.
  • Contribute to the evolution of our interfaces from web to native mobile platforms.

Benefits

  • The opportunity to work on groundbreaking robotics technology, enabling the next generation of humanoid robots to interact dynamically with their environments.
  • A collaborative and innovative environment that fosters creativity and exploration.
  • Equity ownership in the company
  • Health Benefits (Medical, Dental, and Vision)
