About The Position

The Front Office Supervisor is responsible for overseeing guest services team members to ensure efficient and smooth operations, aiming for excellent guest feedback and satisfaction. This role involves responding professionally and courteously to guests, providing accurate and timely information and services. The supervisor will manage daily shift processes, ensuring all team members adhere to standard operating procedures. Key duties include training, directing, resolving issues, and coaching front desk team members to maintain a high-quality operation. The supervisor is also tasked with resolving customer issues, complaints, and problems quickly and efficiently to ensure high customer satisfaction. Building strong relationships and liaising with other departments, especially housekeeping and reservations, is crucial. Additionally, the supervisor controls cash transactions at the front desk and maintains full responsibility for their personal bank as per hotel policy.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise guest services team members to ensure efficient and smooth operations for producing excellent feedbacks and guest satisfaction.
  • Respond in a professional and courteous manner to guests by providing accurate and timely information and services.
  • Supervise daily shift processes ensuring all team members adhere to standards operating procedures.
  • Train, direct the work of, resolve issues/problems, and coach and counsel the front desk team members to ensure a quality operation.
  • Resolve customer issues, complaints, problems in a quick, efficient manner to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality service.
  • Build strong relationships and liaise with all other department's especially housekeeping, reservations, etc.
  • Control cash transactions at the front desk and maintain complete responsibility for personal bank as specified by hotel bank agreement policy.
