POSITION OVERVIEW The Front Office Supervisor leads the daily operations of the clinic’s front desk while supporting and developing front office staff. This role helps ensure patients receive a welcoming, organized, and efficient experience from check-in to check-out. This is a working supervisor role, meaning you will work alongside your team while guiding workflows, training staff, and helping maintain smooth clinic operations. Typical Schedule: Monday–Friday - hours based on business need but typically 8am - 5pm Clinic is opened for half days on Saturdays (Some flexibility may be required based on clinic needs.)

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1–2 years of experience in a medical office or clinical setting
  • Strong customer service and patient interaction skills
  • Comfortable with computer systems and scheduling software
  • Previous supervisor or team lead experience

Nice To Haves

  • Some college coursework in medical, business, or healthcare administration
  • EMR experience (Athenahealth preferred)
  • Current BLS certification

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support daily front desk operations
  • Schedule staff and assist with training and development
  • Lead by example to create a positive patient experience
  • Serve as the first point of contact for patient or staff concerns
  • Ensure accurate patient check-in, intake, and scheduling
  • Collect copays and balances according to insurance guidelines
  • Maintain a clean, organized front desk and lobby
  • Coordinate front office team meetings
  • Support administrative tasks including patient records, communications, and data verification
  • Ensure compliance with OnPoint policies, HIPAA regulations, and privacy laws
