Handle high volume incoming phone calls, emails, and other correspondence in a professional and courteous manner, triaging messages and routing them to the appropriate staff members. Assist in the coordination of patient referrals, appointments, and follow-up care. Verify health insurances. Answer patient inquiries and address concerns to the best of your ability, escalating complex issues to the appropriate healthcare personnel. Offer support and guidance to patients on preventive healthcare measures. Ensure timely documentation of all clinical encounters, test results, and procedures performed during patient visits. Attaching relevant faxes to patient files. Conduct initial assessment of patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and weight, and record them appropriately in the electronic health record (EHR) system. Escort patients to examination rooms and assist in preparing them for examinations. Assist healthcare providers during medical examinations and procedures as required. Prepare and maintain examination rooms before and after patient visits, ensuring cleanliness and adequate stock of supplies. Provide patients with information regarding clinic procedures, treatments, and medication instructions as directed by healthcare providers. Maintain and order medical, office and lab supplies. Fax order to hospitals as needed. Compiling medical records and dispatching them. Schedule patient appointments and manage the clinic's appointment calendar efficiently. Adhere to all relevant healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA guidelines, to maintain patient confidentiality and ensure a safe working environment. Any other duties as assigned.
