Requirements

  • A positive, professional attitude and genuine desire to help patients feel comfortable
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and phone etiquette
  • Ability to handle confidential information and follow clinic protocols
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Proficiency with computers and willingness to learn EMR and scheduling systems

Nice To Haves

  • Prior medical office or front-desk experience
  • Familiarity with insurance verification or basic billing
  • Experience with customer service in a healthcare or wellness setting

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients with warmth and professionalism and manage patient check-in/check-out processes
  • Answer incoming calls, respond to general inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate team members
  • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments using the clinic scheduling system
  • Collect and verify patient information, insurance details, and required forms
  • Process payments, issue receipts, and handle basic billing tasks
  • Assist patients with program questions and provide clear guidance on next steps
  • Maintain accurate patient records in the EMR and ensure confidentiality at all times
  • Manage daily front-desk opening and closing tasks
  • Coordinate incoming mail, supplies, and basic inventory for front-office needs
  • Assist with light administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and documentation
  • Support clinic marketing and patient engagement initiatives when requested
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to maintain smooth patient flow and timely communications
