About The Position

PLA Front Office Managers (Administrative Assistant) provide a broad array of customer service and support to students and team members. The Campus: Kids Care Elementary (KCE) is a tuition-free public charter school committed to providing a top-notch education for our scholars. We are a K-5 campus that serves about 150 scholars. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in business or office management
  • 1+ years of experience in a clerical support position; office management experience preferred
  • Knowledge and implementation of relevant technology

Nice To Haves

  • Speaks Spanish
  • Prior experience working with school-aged students preferred

Responsibilities

  • Greets all incoming visitors for the purpose of ensuring that guests sign in/out as required
  • Supports the Principal and other administrative personnel for the purpose of assisting with their administrative functions
  • Performs record keeping and general clerical functions (e.g., scheduling, copying, faxing, mailings, etc) for the purpose of providing information and/or materials as needed
  • Assists other personnel for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities
  • Orients new campus personnel regarding appropriate school practices (e.e, Directions, building procedures, etc.)
  • Maintains a variety of computerized and manual records, files, and department databases (e.g., information packets, rosters/listings, calendars, outstanding supply orders, etc.)
