About The Position
FOH Shift Lead (aka Vibe Captain + Team Coach) MOZZ Artisan Pizza is on the hunt for a confident, people-loving leader to step up as our next FOH Shift Lead! You’ll help run the show during shifts—keeping service smooth, guests happy, and the team fired up and focused. If you've got solid food service experience (including time in a leadership role), love talking food and drink, and know how to lead a team with positivity and high standards—this one’s for you. Requirements
- A few years of food service experience, including at least one in a leadership role
- Strong communication + teamwork skills
- A working knowledge of alcohol (especially beer and wine)
- Valid food handler and alcohol service permits (or willing to get them)
- A passion for training, leading, and creating great guest experiences
Responsibilities
- Run the floor with confidence and keep the vibes high
- Lead alcohol service (beer + wine) like a pro— must be 21+
- Handle customer concerns with ease and professionalism
- Train and coach team members to deliver top-tier service
- Keep things clean and safe by enforcing food safety + sanitation standards
- Manage inventory and help ensure timely ordering
- Communicate clearly, stay calm under pressure, and motivate your team
- Bring a team-first attitude and help create a workplace people love
