About The Position

Kaluz and Max’s Grille are seeking an experienced and guest-focused Front of House (FOH) Manager to support operations across our restaurant locations. This role is ideal for a hands-on hospitality leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, leads by example, and is comfortable being mobile between locations throughout Broward County. The FOH Manager plays a critical role in delivering exceptional guest experiences, maintaining service standards, coaching FOH teams, and partnering closely with General Managers, Executive Chefs, and corporate leadership.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of FOH management experience in an upscale, high-volume restaurant.
  • Strong leadership skills with proven ability to motivate and develop diverse teams.
  • Excellent knowledge of hospitality service standards, bar operations, and guest engagement.
  • Strong conflict-resolution and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to work on feet for extended periods in a high-energy environment.
  • Frequent movement through FOH and BOH during service.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds.
  • Must be able to move quickly and safely through confined spaces.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-the-floor leadership, coaching, and accountability during service.
  • Rotate between FOH teams daily to monitor performance and support staff needs.
  • Support training, onboarding, and ongoing development of FOH team members.
  • Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented culture across all FOH roles.
  • Oversee FOH setup, side work, and readiness before each shift.
  • Ensure smooth coordination between FOH and BOH during service.
  • Monitor table turns, bar service, and guest flow to optimize efficiency.
  • Assist with scheduling and labor management to align staffing with demand.
  • Engage with guests during service to ensure satisfaction and resolve concerns.
  • Maintain the dining room, bar, and lobby ambiance in line with Kaluz’s upscale brand.
  • Foster guest loyalty through professional, attentive interactions.
  • Support GM and AGM in monitoring FOH-related costs and budgets.
  • Assist in managing bar and FOH inventory, minimizing waste.
  • Ensure compliance with FOH policies, cash handling procedures, and service standards.
  • Assist in recruiting, training, and onboarding new staff members.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to FOH supervisors and hourly team members.
  • Help enforce policies, procedures, and company standards consistently.
  • Ensure staffing levels are adequate for service demand while controlling labor costs.
