The Front of the House Manager oversees the daily operations of 2 restaurants, focusing on employee selection, development, and performance management. Responsibilities include managing inventory and food supply orders, optimizing profits, and ensuring guest satisfaction. This role is pivotal in developing a positive brand image through exceptional customer service and adherence to restaurant protocols.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience managing in Food and Beverage
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Computer literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Highly motivated, dedicated, and focused on customer service and teamwork.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee profit and loss performance by applying effective cash control, security measures, labor management, inventory oversight, financial analysis, and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
  • Uphold food safety and sanitation standards by ensuring proper food handling, maintaining cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas, and complying with all relevant operational procedures, policies, and local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Ensure a professional restaurant atmosphere by maintaining cleanliness, enforcing proper uniform guidelines, and upholding appearance standards.
  • Manage inventory processes, including ordering, receiving, and processing product requisitions accurately and efficiently.
  • Lead all aspects of team management including hiring, training, scheduling, developing, motivating, evaluating, coaching, and disciplining staff members.
  • Develop and oversee comprehensive staff training programs in accordance with company policies and Food Services Department standards.
  • Deliver exceptional guest service throughout the restaurant; address and resolve customer concerns promptly to promote guest satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Plan and facilitate departmental meetings and participate in all food and beverage-related meetings.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
