SPECIFIC TASKS, DUTIES, & RESPONSIBILITIES · Receive visitors and answer the telephone taking messages and disbursing to the appropriate party. · Delegate telephone answering and messages to other front end staff as needed. · Prioritize incoming calls and visits based on urgency and respond to citizen needs with timely and accurate information. · Communicate with employees by handheld radio. · Create and close workorders for various divisions, including checking in on progress, updating customers, and verifying work completion. · Create utility locates and submit to 811. · Receive utility locates from 811 and disperse to Utility Line Locator. · Speak with citizens regarding all cemetery information. · Walk through cemetery with families looking to purchase burial plots and answer any questions. · Process Payments for cemetery. · Create deeds for burial plots and update ownership information into Access Database. · Coordinate with funeral directors to exchange burial information and to mark gravesites for burials. · Any other duties assigned. WORKER REQUIREMENTS (education, certifications, experience, etc.) · High school diploma or GED (General Education Degree) · Valid Driver’s License · Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft office software · Proficiency in software and processes related to Customer Relationship Management (CRM) or Customer Success Management (CSM) · Ability to make quick and accurate decisions based on emergency situations and established procedures HOURS/SCHEDULING · Monday-Friday · 7am-4pm · On call for emergencies · Overtime as needed
