About The Position

The Loader Operator is responsible for a variety of tasks to provide production support for WI operations. They typically use motorized equipment such as a front-end loader, yard truck, haul truck. Role and Responsibilities: Participate in mandatory stretching exercise program Follow all safety regulations Inspect all equipment before operation Load stone bunkers for saws Shuttle bunkers in/out of production facility Unload stone blocks from semi trailers Load / Unload stone for the custom saw production facility Use the yard truck to move finished trailers Shuttle stone stock from the quarry to the production facility using the yard truck and trailers Organize and maintain custom saw production facility stock yard Load gravel trucks using front end loader Weigh stacks of stone slabs on truck scale Shuttle roll off truck containers (full & empty) in/out of production facility Push up and maintain scrap pile and haul ramp Quarry stone in Chilton as needed Cross train to serve as a backup to various other loader operators positions Snow plowing Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Knowledge of operating heavy equipment
• Certification in loader and forklift operation- Training and certification are provided on site
• Able to work with minimal supervision, be proactive, and able to work with others
• Data entry, math and computer skills
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Ability to lift objects weighing between 50-100 pounds

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain custom saw production facility stock yard
• Load gravel trucks using front end loader
• Weigh stacks of stone slabs on truck scale
• Shuttle roll off truck containers (full & empty) in/out of production facility
• Push up and maintain scrap pile and haul ramp
• Quarry stone in Chilton as needed
• Cross train to serve as a backup to various other loader operators positions
• Snow plowing
• Other duties as assigned
